I'm trying to make the long-form instrumentals sound like a hybrid between progressive and new-wave rock music. Kind of like David Byrne and Syd Barret's love child. This should be interesting.
I have just finalized the storyline/main concept for the album in its entirety. But I won't be disclosing that information here. You'll just have to wait and see (or hear, to be specific)!
The editing process is without a doubt the most painstaking and critical. However, without this portion, the final product would sound like a handful of preschoolers seeing how hard they can throw a bunch of instruments down the stairs.
Recording has commenced. I have a solid amount written right now, and a bit less actually recorded and edited.

How many Blog-Posts can be done in one period you ask? Well let's find out, shall we?
A-One, A-Twooo, A-Thrrreee, *CRUNCH*
I have not seen my mentor in quite some time now. I fear that collecting the required number of hours may prove...difficult. Our schedules seem to clash far too often.
I have completed a significant portion of my final project, which I intend to be a long-form recorded track with dramatic changes in mood.
Mrs. Hall is conducting portfolio checks as we speak and I, among others, am now scrambling to collect all the different pieces and get all these menial blog posts completed.
First Term is now complete, and all grades are in for the quarter. This marks the half way point of this class and a victory for us all.
I was very happy to receive such a high score on my research paper. It was definitely a positive even in the course of first term.
